Frequently Asked Questions

I have an old Phonograph/Gramophone/Radio, are you interested in buying it?

We're always interested in buying new items. Check out our 'Redcar Buys' page or drop us a line using our contact form and let us know the make model you have available and we'll get back to you ASAP. We'll probably ask for some photographs and any information you can provide about the machine's history. We also require you to provide us with an asking price. Be sure to fill in your email address on the form so we can respond to you.

Do you accept trade-ins?

In most cases yes, just send us a line via our contact from, the same procedure applies if you're selling your machine.

Do you buy parts or parts machines?

We certainly do! Just contact us and let us know what you've got.

How do I place an order?

We currently don't have an online shopping option, but you can contact us and let us know what you're interested in and we'll get back to you ASAP.  For any item on our website marked as 'available at the Beaumont Mill', you can go to the  Mill and purchase the item there.  The Beaumont Mill currently only accepts cash and you can contact Peter at (905)873-4407 to see if an item is still available.

Will you ship items worldwide?

Yes, we will ship our items worldwide and will work with our customers to find the best possible shipping solutions. We package and crate our items extremely carefully and this sometimes adds to the time to dispatch, but we believe in providing the best quality service which sometime requires more time.

Do you offer local Delivery and set up?

We can deliver items locally and in some cases long distances for a fee. We can also set up your new music machine and provide you with care and maintenance instructions. Contact us for more information.

Do you except returns or refunds?

Unfortunately, because we are in the business of selling old, used things we cannot guarantee an items condition will meet your expectations, especially when you're buying online without actually seeing the item in person. We encourage you to ask as many questions, and for as many pictures you require to feel comfortable with the purchase you intend to make. We remain committed to our customers and their satisfaction is our number one priority.  If you're purchasing locally, we'll do whatever we can to correct any issues that should arise.

My question is not on the list, now what?

While we try to think of everything, obviously we can't. You can contact us with any question you have by filling out our contact form here.
